What are you most proud of in your career?
I hate these questions as everyone expects it to be a HUGE deal or something but actually what I am most proud of is helping people in the industry fulfil their career goals - sharing their successes with others, challenging them and ensuring they are playing to their strengths. I am proud that in every agency business I have worked in I hope I made a difference and left on great terms and today am still great friends with those I worked with- never burn your bridges.
First property job and how you got it?
Foxtons, I saw an ad in Sunday Times saying I could drive a BMW and earn a fortune .... it beat the Harrods Graduate Training scheme where I was the manager of Christmas Decs in July!
What motivates you?
People - I get my energy from others
Best advice for preparing for an interview?
Know the business you are interviewing for. Engage if possible with them before the interview - via social media or suchlike. Have a few examples of career highlights ready - be aware to discuss what you are working on as an area for improvement - people love to ask that question in some form. Most of all be on time try to relax and be yourself. And never wear a cardigan!
What advice would you give your 18-year-old self?
Be brave and prepared to fail as this drives you to be better. And if a job seizes to be enjoyable and fun - leave - you do your best work when you are happy and energised
Which leader, entrepreneur, founder, or CEO inspires you?
Daniel Daggers (Founder/CEO of DDRE) would clearly like me to say him but I have massive respect for Trinny Woodall. She has set up a £300M beauty Empire in her late 50s showing us all it is never too late. She is endlessly stylish and does not take herself too seriously, obviously Daniel is pretty inspirational too but Trinny wins on the fashion stakes....
Your best deal?
A lettings deal on house on the Phillimore Estate in Kensington - applicants called up as a board was up outside - the board cost £4.50 to put up back then. I took the call, negged the deal they moved in 24 hours later at £6k per week - a record price 20 years ago for the road. ALWAYS take the call!
What’s your favourite restaurant?
The Suffolk in Aldeburgh - I love to be by the sea

Apple every time.
