What are you most proud of in your career?
Carter Jonas was established in 1855 and I am very proud to be our first female Equity Partner.
First property job and how you got it?
Trainee Lettings Negotiator for PKL Limited in Chelsea in 1993. I applied to work in property and had two offers, one to do sales in Richmond and other lettings in Chelsea. I picked lettings in Chelsea.
What motivates you?
I have always been very target driven, so whether it’s doing more deals, or saving for my first flat, I have always had the next target. My children’s education has provided this target in recent years.
Best advice for preparing for an interview?
Looking on the company website ahead is important, ensuring your cv is accurate had does not have unexplained gaps.
What advice would you give your 18-year-old self?
I struggled at academically and would love to have had more advice at the time that A ‘Levels are not the only path to success.
Which leader, entrepreneur, founder, or CEO inspires you?
Richard Branson has always been an inspirational Entrepreneur for me – Virgin Atlantic in particular challenged the major air lines and excited me
Your best deal?
When the Portman Estate instructed Carter Jonas to let our first flat.
