Setting the Scene:


When a prominent commercial property business sought our assistance to fill a critical role, the initial step was a thorough consultation to understand the client's requirements and business landscape. During this stage, we offered invaluable advice regarding the ideal candidate's background and experience, setting the stage for a strategic recruitment process.


Our Approach:


We maintained continuous communication with the client to keep them informed throughout the candidate search. In addition to crafting and posting an engaging job advert across various job boards, we conducted proactive searches on LinkedIn and Reed to identify potential candidates. A rigorous screening and interview process was implemented to ensure that candidates were well-briefed on the role and only suitable candidates were shortlisted. 


Challenges:


One of the primary challenges we encountered was the scarcity of active candidates. To address this, we adopted a hands-on approach. We actively sought referrals when speaking to potential candidates, ensuring that no stone was left unturned. Furthermore, the candidate who was ultimately offered the role expressed some concerns and requested time to consider the offer.  In response, we maintained an unwavering commitment to transparency and open communication with both the candidate and the client. This approach allowed the candidate to make an informed decision and be confident that they were making the right step in their career path.


Outcome:


The candidate, having had the time they needed to evaluate the opportunity, independently accepted the role. They displayed genuine excitement about their future prospects within the business, highlighting the effectiveness of our approach in aligning the right candidate with the right opportunity.
