An independent property business based in Clapham Southwest London, is looking to recruit an experienced Property Manager and Lettings Administrator to support a residential portfolio of around 100 residential properties.

This is a varied, hands-on role combining property management, administration, and residential lettings support. The role would suit someone organised, proactive, and comfortable working independently within a smaller team.

As this is a newly created position, there is flexibility around working structure and hours for the right person, including the potential for a blend of office and home working.

The Role
The successful candidate will play a key role in the daily running of the entire lettings and management portfolio and will act as a central point of contact across a broad range of responsibilities, including:
  • Managing property maintenance issues and contractor coordination
  • Acting as a first point of contact for tenants and general property queries
  • Preparing and administering tenancy agreements and related documentation
  • Managing compliance documents and ensuring files are kept accurate and up to date
  • Supporting referencing and Right to Rent processes
  • Assisting with tenant move-ins and move-outs
  • Supporting the marketing of available properties
  • Providing general office and administrative support across the business

This is a role for someone who is happy to be involved in all aspects of residential lettings administration and property management. One day this may involve arranging maintenance or compliance paperwork; the next may involve deposits, check-ins, tenancy progression, or helping to update and improve internal systems and processes.

About You
We’re looking for someone who:
  • Is comfortable working independently and taking ownership of day-to-day responsibilities
  • Is confident dealing with tenants, landlords, and contractors
  • Has a practical, hands-on approach and is happy getting involved in all aspects of the role
  • Has strong organisational skills and good attention to detail
  • Is dependable, self-motivated, and proactive
  • Enjoys balancing administration with the practical side of property management
