As Property Manager, you will be responsible for managing a portfolio of residential properties while assisting with tenancy accounts administration. The position requires strong organisational skills and a solid understanding of lettings legislation, ensuring smooth day-to-day operations and excellent service delivery to landlords and tenants.
Key Responsibilities of the Property Manager:
- Managing a portfolio of residential properties.
- Acting as the main point of contact for landlords and tenants.
- Coordinating maintenance and repairs with approved contractors.
- Conducting regular property inspections and reporting findings.
- Ensuring full compliance with current lettings legislation and safety regulations.
- Managing deposit returns and negotiating end-of-tenancy matters.
- Monitoring rent payments and assisting with tenancy accounts administration.
- Liaising with the accounts team regarding arrears and tenant balances.
- Maintaining accurate records and ensuring all administration is up to date.
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in Property Management (essential).
- Good understanding of lettings legislation and compliance.
- Experience or exposure to tenancy accounts/rent administration.
- Excellent organisational and communication skills.
- Ability to manage a busy portfolio efficiently and independently.
- Professional and customer-focused approach.
- £35,000 basic salary.
- Monday to Friday working hours.
