The ideal candidate will have a proven track record, solid knowledge of lettings legislation, and a strong customer-first mindset. You’ll be organised, well presented, and adaptable, with the confidence to think on your feet and consistently go the extra mile for clients. Responsibilities:
- Registering applicants and matching them to suitable properties
- Booking and conducting viewings, following up, and converting interest into offers
- Negotiating offers between landlords and tenants to achieve the best outcome
- Building and maintaining strong relationships with landlords and applicants
- Generating new business through calls, database activity, and proactive canvassing
- Responding to telephone, email, and portal enquiries (Rightmove/Zoopla)
- Supporting the progression of tenancies through to completion
- Liaising with Property Management, Accounts, and Renewals teams where required
- Keeping up to date with lettings legislation and industry regulations
- Ensuring all records, notes, and systems are kept accurate and up to date
- £25,000 – 32,000 depending on experience
- Good commission
- Performance related bonus
- Previous experience as a Lettings Negotiator or within a similar property role
- Proven ability to generate and convert leads into deals
- Strong communication and negotiation skills
- Well-presented, organised, and able to manage a busy workload
- Proactive, driven, and target-focused
- Strong attention to detail
- Good understanding of the lettings market and current legislation
- Knowledge of the local area is advantageous
- ARLA qualification (or working towards) is a plus
