An exciting opportunity to join a new on a leading property company on a large Build to Rent development in Birmingham. The Assistant General Manager will be responsible for manging an on-site team, upholding service standards, supporting with health & safety protocols and ensuring an excellent resident experience.
Overview:
- Role: Assistant General Manager
- Location: Birmingham
- Salary: £42,000 + Bonus
- Conduct weekly building checks.
- Maintain excellent relationships with external contractors and suppliers.
- Work with the GM to agree PPM contracts.
- Schedule and carry out statutory training with the tram when applicable.
- Create a best in class community through communication, events and innovations.
- Coordinate social media activity alongside the Marketing team.
- Respond to resident complaints.
- Ensure team are providing excellent service to all residents.
- Improve standards and ensure the team are meeting KPIs.
- Welcome residents when they move in, oversee or assist the initial check-in through to welcome tours.
- Being proactive and reactive to any operational tasks.
- Ensure compliance and carry out regular audits.
- Organise minor works.
- Assist the credit control team to ensure the timely payment of rents.
- Provide asset performance reports and attend monthly meetings with line manager.
- Assist in managing the building expenditure budget.
- Establish and deliver additional income streams where appropriate.
- Prior BTR experience would be ideal.
- Experience leading and motivating a team.
- Proven ability managing a residential development to exceptional standards.
- Understanding of H&S compliance.
- Common sense approach.
- Positive attitude.
- Outgoing, warm, friendly personality.
