Key Responsibilities of the Block Manager:
- Managing a portfolio of residential blocks.
- Acting as the main point of contact for leaseholders, landlords, and contractors.
- Coordinating maintenance, repairs, and compliance works.
- Attending and preparing for AGM and residents’ meetings.
- Ensuring compliance with health & safety and lease obligations.
- Managing service charge budgets and expenditure.
- Liaising with surveyors, managing agents, and freeholders.
- 1-2 years’ experience in block / property management.
- Strong communication and organisational skills.
- Knowledge of service charges, leases, and property legislation.
- Ability to manage multiple sites and priorities.
- Professional, customer-focused approach.
- Full UK Driving licence and access to a car essential.
- Salary up to £40,000 (depending on experience).
