Key Responsibilities of Assistant Property Manager:
- Supporting Block Managers with the day-to-day management of residential blocks, including responding to leaseholder enquiries and maintaining accurate records.
- Administering building insurance claims and coordinating with insurers, contractors, and stakeholders.
- Assisting with site inspections, completing follow-up actions, and supporting compliance activities (Health & Safety, Fire Risk, Asbestos).
- Obtaining and presenting contractor quotations, issuing work orders, and assisting with contract management and re-tenders.
- Providing general administrative support, including reporting, correspondence, system updates and project/task management.
- Highly organised with strong attention to detail.
- Confident communicator with good written and verbal skills.
- Able to manage multiple tasks and prioritise effectively.
- Comfortable using block management systems and Microsoft Office.
- Previous experience in block management or a related administrative role is beneficial but not essential.
- Salary up to £33,000
